Svetlana Loboda (Ukraine)
Svetlana keeps up the Ukraine’s 100% record at the UK Eurovision events after Ani Lorak attended both the Preview and Winners’ Parties in London last year. Representing the country that took second place at the Eurovision Song Contest for the last two years and Performance of the Year in the esctoday.com awards for three years running, she has a lot to live up to. And boy, she can live up to expectations!
A hugely popular singer in Ukraine, Svetlana is also queen of the silver screen with an accomplished career in script writing as well as being a local fashion icon and star. She is a well known television presenter. With two solo albums already to her name, she launched her own fashion brand in April 2008 saw bearing the name F*ck The Macho.
Svetlana has already planned her ‘hell machine’ stage props for the Eurovision Song Contest and the girl with a larger than life personality will not be flying into London to make up the numbers.
