Elena (Romania)

Elena is half Romanian and half Macedonian. She comes from a family of priests and believes strongly that the most important thing in the world is her family. Elena has a sister, Ana, journalist, and a brother, Costin, the footballer of ‘Sportul Studenţesc’. Her mother, Marioara Man George is a folk artist and the first person who inspired Elena the love for music. 

The multitalented singer has already had a number of hits in Romania, opened her own dance school and was named Best Performing Act in Romania (2006) and won the award for Song of the Year for ‘Your Brown Eyes’ (2007).

The Romanian beauty stormed to victory in the Romanian Eurovision Song Contest selection with her song ‘Balkan Girls’ and she will be proudly performing the song at the Preview Party on her way to representing her country in Moscow.
